Mulberry announces new Creative Director

Following a long, successful appointment at Céline, Mulberry announced today, July 8, that Johnny Coca has taken on the role of Creative Director.

“It is such a pleasure to welcome one of the most talented designers in the industry to Mulberry and it will be exciting to watch the brand develop under Johnny's creative leadership,” said Mulberry CEO Thierry Andretta.

Under this new title Coca will lead Mulberry's design team on Women's and Men's Leather Accessories, Shoes, Ready to Wear and Soft Accessories as well as overseeing all creative aspects of branding.

“I am so happy to finally start my journey at Mulberry and it is with great enthusiasm that I embrace my new role as Creative Director,” said Coca. “I am thrilled to share my vision with the creative teams in London but it is also crucial for me to spend as much time as possible at The Rookery and at The Willows, our factories in Somerset, as they are the hear of our brand, and craftsmanship is the soul of our products. It is truly an honour to work with the team to start a new chapter of the Mulberry story.”
