Zazen Meditation Studio, which opened over the summer, is a self-care studio in Oakville offering guided and non-guided group meditation (meditation based-stress reduction, sound, lovingkindness, somatic & Shamanic meditation, nidra pranayama and meditation essentials). Private 1:1 Ayurvedic self-care services, which include consultation, cleansing and maintenance as well as energy therapy, are also offered.

Urban Moorings Two at Royal Botanical Gardens

Urban Moorings Two is a new public art project at Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG). Five artists will showcase their work in conjunction with the RBG’S launch of water quality remediation floats installed on the lower Chedoke Creek watershed, which aims to bring awareness to environmental and cultural challenges within Hamilton’s urban watersheds. On now until November 1.

The Friends Experience: The One in Toronto

If you’ve ever wanted to kick back on the Central Perk couch with Monica or pivot like Ross and Rachel, head to the Friends pop-up experience at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Explore 12 rooms of set recreations, Joey and Chandler’s apartment, Monica and Rachel’s kitchen, and Central Perk. Runs until January 2, 2023. Could there be anything more fun?! Not if you asked Chandler.

Guinness World Record Canoe Paddle

A canoe paddle, dubbed The Big Dipper, has been awarded a Guinness World Record for the largest oar/paddle and is on display at Killarney Mountain Lodge & Conference Centre in Killarney, Ontario. Designed and constructed by renowned canoeist Mike Ranta, the paddle is 110 feet, six inches long and 17 feet wide at its blade and weighs about six tons.
