Take part in the 9th Annual Cause for Paws presented by Oakville's R-DOG Post Park Leash Free Group. A Pawsitively Purrfect Evening to benefit the Oakville & District Humane Society on the picturesque lakeview grounds of Appleby College. As a non-profit organization, the Oakville & District Humane Society receives no dedicated funding from the government. Last year, Cause for Paws was a huge success and raised more than $52,000 for the Oakville & District Humane Society ““ making it one of the most successful fundraising events in the Humane Society's history. For 2010, their goal is to raise $60,000. All proceeds from Cause for Paws go directly to the care of the animals at the shelter. Cause for Paws 2010 promises to be another amazing event where guests will enjoy fine wines, decadent martinis and delicious food.
