This year the May Court Club of Oakville celebrates its 60th anniversary. A volunteer womens organization, The May Court Club of Oakville helps to raise funds for the community, with much of the work focusing on children's needs, and the overall goal of encouraging others to partake in volunteerism and community service. Part of the greater Association of May Court Clubs of Canada, as founded by Lady Isabel Aberdeen in 1898, the May Court organization has grown to include more than 1,500 volunteer women in more than nine cities throughout Ontario. The 60th Diamond Anniversary of May Court is set to take place on Friday, April 15. Go online for more details as they are announced.
