Seeing green

In December Pantone announced that Greenery will be the 2017 Colour of the Year. A zesty yellow-green, Greenery has been selected as nature's neutral ““ a constant shade seen throughout the world evoking feelings of the first days of spring and the lush foliage of the great outdoors. “Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.” The Pantone Colour of the year draws on global culture and is paired with 10 colour palettes, viewable on the Pantone site, that can easily be used in fashion, beauty, product and graphic design applications.
