Time to put on your earmuffs and running shoes ““ the Peak Centre for Human Performance's Chilly Half Marathon and Frosty 5K are back for another year! Taking over Burlington's downtown core on Sunday, March 3, the annual event, now in its 17th year, is expected to attract more than 4,000 participants. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners in each category, with all participants receiving a free technical running jacket. Registration for the event is $50 for the Chilly 5K or $90 for the half marathon with proceeds helping to support the purchase of a Portable Ultrasound Machine for Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department.
