Mountain View Mindfulness

Enjoy an eight-week mindfulness course at Mountain View Compassion, where you will focus on developing self-compassion in daily life, how to motivate yourself with kindness and so much more. The program is based on ground-breaking research by self-compassion expert Dr. Kristin Neff and clinical psychologist and self-compassion expert Dr. Christopher Germer. Led by Jane Cassano MSW, Certified MSC teacher and Kelly Hyatt Certified MSC teacher. The next session begins in September.

At Home Art

The Beyond Art Box by Oakville Galleries is a curated box of art supplies and activities for family fun this summer. The box is filled with a watercolour kit with paper pad, artist led painting tutorial, a planter to paint, and more.

Crescent Hill Gallery Annual Exhibition

Crescent Hill Gallery will be hosting an opening event for the anticipated return of their annual fall exhibition Fri. Sept. 30 from 6-9 pm. The show will run for two months through Oct. and Nov. and will showcase new work by their Canadian established gallery artists. The Gallery is located at 2575 Unit 10, Mississauga. The seventh annual Kerrfest kicks off this summer! Beginning Thursday, Sept. 8 and running until Sunday, Sept. 11, the event is filled with performances, delicious food vendors, and so much more.

Community Art

From Aug. 6 to 28, visit Oscillation: an interactive art exhibit in downtown Oakville that focuses on creating community activity and social interaction through play. Featuring geometric forms that change sounds, colours, and more as you move. Oscillation will be on display at Navy Street, just outside the public library.
