Educate your kids on the benefits of healthy eating with the help of the Kids Culinary Communuity.  Designed to educate kids through experiential learning, this “earth-to-table” project shows kids that eating right can taste good and be fun.  Founded by chef/restauranteur Julia Hanna, this non-profit organization starts in the garden where the kids plant, grow, and harvest their own produce, then its to the kitchen to learn to cook those healthy meals.  Official harvest takes place September 10, visit the Kids Culinary Community website for more details.
