The Mercedes-Benz Oakville 10K is back for its sixth year presented by New Balance Oakville, featuring a new partnership with the Oakville Hospital Foundation. Starting at Appleby College, the 10K takes place Sunday, April 27 and includes a series of runs/walks for the whole family. All funds raised will go toward equipping single-patient rooms, with 80 per cent of rooms at the hospital being designed for one patient to reduce the risk of infection as well as providing patients with more privacy and comfort. Registration is $40 for the 5K and $55 for the 10K and increases to $50 and $65 on March 13. Go online to register.
