Not-so-seasonal cider

Traditionally thought of as a summer beverage, cider is becoming more and more popular proving that you don't need a hot day for a cool, refreshing drink. Pommies Dry Cider amps up the cider game with the use of 100 per cent juice made from a blend of five different varieties of handpicked Ontario heritage apples. With no artificial flavours or colours, Pommies is produced in Caledon, Ontario using traditional English dry cider methods and is gently carbonated making it a crisp, sparkling alternative to beer, coolers and light white wines. Playing off of the “not quite beer, not quite wine” esthetic that is cider, the bottle comes in a clear, shrunken down wine bottle. Available in four packs at the LCBO for $12.95.
